Zacari loves the competitiveness and the grind. Whether it’s basketball or football, he thrives on going head-to-head against other athletes and pushing himself harder every single day. What drives him most is the hard work knowing that every rep, every practice, every film session makes him better. He’s passionate about both sports because they demand his best, and that’s exactly what he gives.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Zacari is inspired by his family legacy. His grandfather played in the NFL, and Zacari carries that with pride—not as pressure, but as motivation. He sees athleticism and dedication as part of who he is. Beyond that, he’s inspired by competing against upper classmen and earning respect through his work. Proving himself as a freshman starter has shown him what’s possible when you refuse to back down from a challenge.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Being the best wide receiver on the field as an incoming freshman, competing against juniors and seniors, showed me Zacari’s true character. He didn’t just hold his own—he dominated. Equally proud is watching his defensive intensity in basketball translate across both sports. He’s a complete athlete who shows up every single day ready to work, and that consistency is what makes me proudest.
