What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Zaiden loves most about playing sports is the opportunity God has given him to use the talents He blessed him with. Zaiden loves to compete, work hard, encourage his teammates, and always give his best. He loves the challenge of getting better and believes that no matter the score, he can honor God by giving 100% and showing good character on and off the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Zaiden is inspired most by his older brothers, who have always been athletes and some of his biggest role models. Watching them work hard, compete, overcome challenges, and lead by example has taught him so much. He looks up to them both on and off the field and hopes to follow in their footsteps. Most importantly, Zaiden wants to use the talents God has given him to be a good teammate, leader, and example to others.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moments that make me proudest aren’t always when Zaiden wins, but when he fights through adversity and refuses to give up. Watching him face challenges with determination shows me the strength God has placed inside him. I’m proud when he responds to setbacks with a good attitude, encourages his teammates, and keeps giving his best. Most of all, I’m proud to see him honor God through his effort, character, and perseverance.
