What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreZayn loves the energy, competition, and being part of a team. He is naturally athletic and loves pushing himself, but what he enjoys most is encouraging his teammates, celebrating their successes, and being the team’s biggest cheerleader. Sports give him a place to be himself, play with confidence, and show his competitive side in the right moments.
Zayn is inspired by people who work hard, stay humble, and support others. He looks up to teammates and athletes who lead by example, but he is also inspired by the people around him who encourage him to be confident, kind, and resilient. He wants to be someone who makes his team better, both through his effort and his positive spirit.
I am most proud when I see Zayn putting his team before himself. Whether he is cheering from the sidelines, encouraging a teammate who is struggling, or celebrating someone else’s success, he shows what being a true team player means. His athletic ability is impressive, but seeing him use it with humility, confidence, and the right competitive spirit makes me proudest.
