What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreThe competitiveness of improving their game, working as a team, and making plays out on the field. His love for football keeps him determined to stay fit and always ready to play. Maintains a 3.8 GPA all year so he can play football for his middle school.
When he was 6yrs old he was hospitalized at a pediatrics hospital and was exposed to the many children that were stuck in the hospital because of their illnesses. This experience really inspired him to strive and achieve his goals on playing football as he knows the kids in the hospital would never get a chance to play any sports. Most importantly his faith in God runs deep and he always says a prayer before practice and games, prays before he eats a meal, and is grateful for all his blessings.
There was a game where he was guarding a kid twice his size, while guarding him that kid kept making receptions and gaining yards in the game, after two plays Zayne managed to play smarter and got in front of that kid while guarding him and intercepted the ball. I swear I think I was the loudest and proudest Dad on the field after that play. Ohhh what a game!
