Zoe knows her parents played sports & one of her brothers wanted to play but didn’t have the height until later. Her brother helped her practice for basketball tryouts & she made the team. Her brother died in a motorcycle accident 6 months later. I know she thinks of him & wants to make him proud.
Zoe doesn’t give up & when she played on her school team last year there were very few players who even knew how to play the game. Zoe had to be patient & try to help her teammates on the court during the season. Even though they had a losing season, I’m proud of her leadership & compassion for others.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
