Zoey expressed that her father inspires her because in each sport he’s there training with her any way possible. In track and cross country he began running and working out with me. We looked at countless YouTube videos together to learn proper techniques. In soccer which he knows nothing about but try to instill hard work and ethics even in a sport that he haven’t played. He also practice and coach basketball and volleyball by participating in drills and making it fun as much as possible.
The proudest moment for me as a father was last year when she made Junior Olympics because all the hard work she put in. We ran miles together and got a chance to have a deeper bond. Once I saw the joy and excitement on her face that she set out a goal and accomplished it filled my heart. I know we have a long way to go in every sport and other moments overshadow this one because I she’s great. I just love Zoey Rae Tinker so much because I know she can accomplish anything she puts her mind too.
