A proud moment came this past May when Carmella competed at her Level 3 State Championship. After an undefeated Level 2 season and earning the NYS All-Around Champion title, she had high hopes of repeating her success. Although she narrowly missed first place and finished second All-Around, she stood on the podium with her head held high and a smile on her face, showing true grace and sportsmanship.
