Gabriel is addicted to basketball. He is passionate about the game and it shows on and off the court with all the work he puts in.

Gabriel feels that basketball helps him on and off the court with building character. He is able to build relationships with teammates. It gives him a purpose to get up each day. It makes him want to do great things and strive to do get better in everything that he does.
Marquise Nowel is his favorite player because all though he is the shortest on the court he still dominants in the game. He doesn’t let his size define him.
Gabriel’s motivation and determination is what makes me the proudest. He puts in the work with out even been told. He pushes himself each day to be a better player. He gives 110% in practices and games. A few years back he broke his right hand but that didn’t stop him. He used it as an opportunity to work on his left hand shots and skills. It really helped him step his game up even more.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
